Officecore with Gucci
Last year, Gucci’s iconic Horsebit 1953 loafer celebrated its 70th anniversary. Originally created by Guccio Gucci’s son Aldo in 1953, the shoe takes its inspiration from a popular loafer silhouette that caught the eye of Aldo during a trip to New York. He adorned this with a golden horsebit as a symbol of the brand’s equestrian heritage.
Ever since, the loafer has been as at home at the private boxes of horse races as in the corporate world and on the streets, and has arguably become Gucci’s most recognizable shoe.
In an officecore mise-en-scène, Teresa Ciocia and Ras Bartram undress the timeless shoe with a view of the Eiffel Tower.
